By observing these policies, we know your experience at Garver House Bed and Breakfast, while visiting the surrounding towns such as New Philadelphia, Ohio, will be more relaxing and enjoyable than typical chain hotels.

Rescheduling & Canceling Reservations

We recognize that unforeseeable events sometimes arise that require our guests to reschedule or cancel reservations. We do everything we can to accommodate those requests; without imposing unacceptable financial strains on our business. Therefore, the following policies on rescheduling and canceling reservations are observed:

  • Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted to hold the room (credit card will not be charged until check-in).

  • Cash and/or checks accepted for deposit (checks must be received two weeks prior to check-in date).

  • Requests to reschedule or cancel reservations at least 10 days in advance of the scheduled arrival date are accepted without penalty.  Cancellation with less than 10 days Must be made by calling the Innkeeper, our phone number is 330-878-4113.

  • Cancellation 72 hours or less of arrival date will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee for each night if the room cannot be re-booked.

  • Cancellations the same day as scheduled arrival date, “no shows”, and early departures (example - reservation for 3 days but stay only 2 days) are charged the full amount of the original reservation.

  • We are not responsible for inclement weather, health status changes.

General Policies

  • No pets permitted

  • No smoking (local ordinance prohibits smoking on-premises)

    • Smoking outside is permitted; an ashtray will be provided.

  • No candles allowed in guest rooms due to fire/safety issues

    • We have battery-operated candles for your enjoyment.

Arrivals & Departures

  • Check-in is from 4-7 p.m. unless other arrangements are made with Innkeepers

  • Check-out by 10:30 a.m.
